All children of the parish are invited to participate in the Crowning of the Blessed Mother and the Children’s Procession of Flowers, led by this year’s First Communion classes. All children will meet in the church hall before Mass to line up and get a flower to carry to the statue of Jesus’ mother, Mary, and watch her be crowned with a floral wreath. Each child will also receive a Miraculous Medal to wear.
After Mass, the Women’s Fellowship will serve refreshments for all the parishioners. Come help show Mary how much you love her by participating in this special event.
Saint Margaret Women’s Fellowship is conducting a book drive for Read To Grow during the month of May. Read To Grow distributes 160,000 new and gently used books to hospitals and schools each year. Books from birth to high school are needed. There will be marked boxes in the Church hall and the parish center lobby for donations.
