  • Choir Rehearsal Schedule

  • Virtual Choir Rehearsal Schedule Fall 2020:
    Tuesdays, starting September 22
    6:15 PM – Children’s Choir
    7:30 PM – Traditional Choir
    Thursdays, starting September 24
    7:30 PM – Contemporary Choir

We will be holding online rehearsals, and invite anyone interested in doing some singing from home to come and join us. We will be working on vocal technique, singing new and familiar hymns, and working on developing sight-reading skills.

Singers are muted for much of the rehearsal. Only the person leading the rehearsal is heard as choir members sing along. Rehearsals online are like having a private voice lesson in your home since all you hear is the choir director and yourself.
If you would like to do some singing during this time, please consider joining us on Tuesday or Thursday. To join us, please contact Elizabeth Stone, the music director at 203 245.7301 ext. 110. or at Elizabeth.Stone@StMargaretchurch.com*

  • Lenten Chants

  • Text:

    English:
My heart declared to you: “your countenance have I sought; I shal ever seek your countenance, O Lord; do not turn your face from me.”
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear?

    Latin:
Tibi dixit cor meum “quaesivi vultum tuum, vultum tuum Domine requiram: ne avertas faciem tuam a me.”
Dominus illuminatio mea, et salus mea: quem timebo?
