• 2019 Parish Council Elections

  • The Parish Council is a consultative body of active, registered parishioners intended to advise the pastor in the administrative, pastoral, and spiritual care of St. Margaret Parish. Members participate in and encourage a more prominent lay involvement in the life of the Parish.

The twelve-member Council meets 5-6 times a year, generally on the second Monday evening of the designated months.

Six (6) open seats, each serving for one (1) four-year term, will become available in June. Please consider whether you or someone you know would be a good candidate for this important ministry.

Each parishioner, eighteen (18) years of age or older, may nominate themselves or another parishioner only once, although multiple individuals can be nominated. Please be certain that if you nominate a fellow parishioner, you have their full permission to do so.

Nominations for the six (6) seats can be made in one of the following two ways:

    1. Complete a paper ballet (found in the parish bulletin) and drop it in the offertory basket at Mass

    2. Click here to complete and submit an on-line ballot

The nomination period ends April 28th.

Once the nominations have been established, information about each candidate will be collected and made available to the Parish community in May. The elections will take place over the weekend of June 1st and 2nd.
